On how to comment

Some readers seem to have a problem with the comments function and/or don't know exactly how it works.

From what we've heard from iPad users, there seems to be a general problem to comment via iPad. For whatever reason. Sucks! But you guys can still comment on Facebook if you like ;-)

For those not using an iPad but don't know exactly how it works:

1. Go to the bottom of the post and click on "no comments" (if there are comments aleady, it says "1 comment" or "5 comments" etc.)

2. Write your comment and then choose from the dropdown menu "comment as". Do you have e.g. a Google, Wordpress or other account, you can choose one of those.

3. If you don't want to use an account or don't have one, choose "Name/URL", then type in your name (or the name you would like to comment with). The URL field can be left blank!

Click "continue" and you're done. Hope that clears things up a bit ;-)

  1. According to my Google research, we iPad users would have to download the Opera app in order to leave comments on a Blogger blog. That's because Blogger sucks and WordPress rules. Please move your blog to WordPress. :-D :-D :-D (This comment is via a computer, not iPad.)

  2. Hahahaha!!!!!! I'd started with Wordpress actually, but thought it was a pain in the ass, to be honest. Blogger is SO SO SO much easier to use. Never found out e.g. how to add all those gadgets. I think it sucks that there are still so many systems not working together properly.

  3. I tried downloading the Blogger app for iPad to see if I could comment with that. Nope.

    1. Too bad. But you know what... I think, even if it was easy and possible for everyone to comment here, people still wouldn't do it. Because obviously that's normal that you don't get feedback from people. That's what I've learned from someone who knows about these things LOL. It's the hardest thing in the world, to get reactions out of people. That's a fact. We have around 50 readers for every update... that's quite alright for this little blog, so I'm not complaining. It means that the regular people keep coming back I think.

  4. People should learn to engage in conversation more often. They should start practicing here.
